Accessibility Policy and Statement

Part A: Accessibility in what we build

1. Our commitment

The platforms we build are often used by people with disabilities, people using older devices or slow connections, and people in stressful situations. We aim for every product we build to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA, or WCAG 2.1 AA where the client or a funder specifies it, unless the client agrees a different target in writing.

2. How we work

  • Design: sufficient colour contrast, clear labels and instructions, readable text sizes, layouts that work when zoomed and on mobile.
  • Build: semantic HTML, keyboard access for all functionality, visible focus, text alternatives for images, accessible forms and error messages, ARIA only where native HTML is not enough.
  • Test: automated accessibility checks with axe and Lighthouse during development, plus manual keyboard testing of key user journeys before release.
  • Content: we advise clients on plain language and accessible documents, since much of a platform's accessibility depends on the content they add.

3. Limits and honesty

Full conformance depends on scope, budget, third-party components and client content. We tell clients early where we see a risk to conformance, document known issues, and can arrange an independent accessibility audit where a client or funder requires one. We do not claim formal certification of accessibility.

Part B: Accessibility statement for swiftmade.co

Swiftmade OÜ wants swiftmade.co to be usable by as many people as possible. We aim for the site to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA.

Conformance status

Based on our most recent self-assessment, swiftmade.co meets WCAG 2.2 Level AA on the pages we tested. We are not aware of any outstanding issues on the site itself. If you find one, please tell us.

Third-party content

The call booking page is provided by SavvyCal and is outside our control. Automated checks found accessibility issues on it, including unlabelled buttons and a calendar area that is hard to reach by keyboard. If you have trouble using it, email or call us and we will book the call for you.

How we tested

We tested 12 key pages of swiftmade.co using the automated tools axe-core, Lighthouse and pa11y, plus a manual keyboard check. This was a self-assessment, not a full independent audit.
